Actor Bong Tae-gyu embraced gender fluidity at a livestreamed press junket for his drama series "The Penthouse: War in Life" on Oct. 22.

Bong appeared in a gray pleated skirt suit, which made him an instant fashion sensation. He matched the suit with black tights, black loafers and horn-rimmed glasses in the same color.

All were taken from Thom Browne's Men's Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

"I didn't want to look like a typical mama's boy, the role I play in the drama. Fashion brands usually keep up with ordinary people's demand for clothes, so I thought wearing the suit would show that I can be more than a sissy," Bong quipped. "I wanted to wear something extraordinary at the event. I think nobody else in Korea has worn a Thom Browne suit in this way."
