Actor Jung Hae-in opened up about his thoughts on playing a character in love at a press event for JTBC's new series "Something in the Rain" on March 28.

Asked whether his experience of relationships in real life helps him to play the character, Jung disagreed with the idea. "During shooting, in every scene, I feel as if I'm really in love, as the director urged me to. I'm trying to use my imagination to play the character," Jung said.

"I don't think my previous experience of relationships helps me play this character. Rather, I'm currently living my life as the character, rather than myself," he added. Jung said he focused solely on being the character. "As I said before, I feel as if I'm really in love now, as I play the character."

The series revolves around a woman and her friend's younger brother, who eventually find true love in each other.

"Something in the Rain" begins airing on March 30.
