Ha Jung-woo and Im Si-wan were among the cast members who appeared at an event to promote their upcoming film "Road to Boston" in Seoul on Thursday.

The film tells the story of the first Korean athletes to participate in the Boston Marathon, who competed in the race in 1947 shortly after the country's liberation from Japanese colonial rule.

The Boston Marathon, the world's oldest marathon race, has been held on the third Monday of April every year since 1897.

"Road to Boston" is scheduled for release in time for this year's Chuseok, one of the biggest holidays in Korea, late this month.
