Stars often demonstrate their fondness for various shades of yellow.

Actresses Song Hye-kyo and Jo Yeo-jeong wore different two-piece styles whose colors were astonishingly bright and fresh, reminiscent of lemon trees that could be seen in a sub-tropical or Mediterranean garden.

A collar neck blouse lent Song a more casual feel at a promotional event for an Italian eyewear brand in Seoul in April last year.

On the other hand, Jo gave a nod to British royal fashion rules, wearing a graceful two-piece with a cropped jacket and a flared midi skirt at a premiere event for director Bong Joon-ho's film "Parasite" here in May 2019. Both Song and Jo's outfits perfectly matched their short, bobbed hairstyles.

Fashion-savvy actress Ko So-young wore a shirt-like dress with a beige belt, showing off her cinched waistline at a promotional event for a multi-brand haute couture shop in Seoul in March 2018.

In May 2019, veteran actress Kim Hee-ae, meanwhile, attended a promotional event for Chanel watches in a tweed jacket matched with a long striped shirt and wide pants. The tone-on-tone layering in a wide spectrum of yellow shades and varied patterns looked somewhat asymmetrical, never losing her chicness and elegance.
